Workplace Giving

Giving through your workplace with a payroll deduction is a simple and effective way to contribute a meaningful gift to ALS United Rhode Island on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

One way to participate in workplace giving is through Community Health Charities (CHC) programs. CHC connects American workplaces to credible charities focused on addressing our nation's most pressing health issues and has represented the most well-respected health charities in our country for more than 50 years.

Please contact your HR department for more details on how to start your charitable giving through your workplace.

What if my company doesn't participate?
You can be an agent of change! If your company doesn't participate in a workplace giving program, encourage your company's executives to get involved.

When companies participate in workplace giving through CHC, employees can select the health causes most important to them and know that their charitable dollars are spent wisely.

Life expectancy for people diagnosed with ALS averages just 2-5 years. And there's currently no cure.

ALS United RI is the only local non-profit providing direct care and clinic services to patients with ALS in Rhode Island.

Matching Gifts

If your company has an Employee Matching Gift Program, you can double the impact of your gift to ALS United Rhode Island!

Check with your Human Resources or Community Relations department, and ask for the proper form to request that your company match your gift.

Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
